The monumental forms of the church next to the Fratta appear singularly contrasting with its location within a farm.

Its architecture has the features noble, explained by the nobility of households owning the place.

A majestic altar dominates the back wall, surrounded by classical shrine, which attracts a lot of evidence with the seventeenth-century chapels of the churches of Siena.

But the lavish stucco din apparatus is only an introduction to the three frescoes that decorate the wall of the chapel, and constitute the most precious ornament.

In the central part, depicts the Virgin seated on a high throne holding a baby Jesus blessing, leaning forward to the prayerful soul that turns to him begging for salvation.

To the right of the Virgin and of the Son overlooking St. Anthony of Padua, who shows his heart burning and Santa Caterina, so present in many sacred images of his homeland.

On the walls of the smaller, the sides of the altar, depicting two saints: Jerome left, contemplating the crucifix during penance and Francis on the right, in the act of receiving the stigmata and surrounded by a large landscape, lonely, rocky, Depicting the Verna.

These frescoes reveal unmistakably the hand of one of the greatest masters of the sixteenth century Sienese, Giovanni Antonio Bazzi known as the "Sodom."

Despite the heavy skim and heavy repainting, the frescoes in the chapel of Fratta still indicate with full mastery and expressive capabilities of the Sienese master.

But not only the fresco by Sodoma qualifies the artistic decoration of the church of Fratta. In the two side altars, supported by elegant shelves with scrolls conclusive, are molded in stucco two beautiful sacred compositions.

A substantial assets, which indicates clearly the hidden wealth of figurative art and decorative in this area of the province of Siena.
