In this necropolis were found in tombs dating from the last decades of the seventh century BC The most important is the princely tomb of the Orientalizing period. Among the precious objects found, stands out the gold leaf that covered the urn, with two eyes in bone and amber. All'ossuario was placed in front of the trapeza, a small table on which were placed six bronze chalices and four cups indicating the course of the banquet. The right chamber of the tomb has returned some thirty vessels bucchero related to beverage consumption, and iron andirons indicating the consumption of cooked foods. Very interesting dish bucchero in which were found the remains of a ritual meal. The kit is dated around 600 BC
In the spring of 2001 was carried out further excavations in the vicinity of the princely tomb, which were identified during a series of tombs dating from the fifth century. a.C.e for the most part already plundered. One of these, located next to the prince, however, has made inviolate, that it was possible to retrieve the beautiful outfit belonging to the three deceased sepoltivi: the ashes were kept in urns shaped stone house that still preserved the painted decorations. The funeral was completed with painted pots and bronze carts.
