In Tuscany between Siena and Arezzo, in an ancient medieval residence, OPEN ALL YEAR ROUND, relives the myth of dame Pia of Tolomei.

It’s our great pleasure to introduce to You a brand new Residence: “La Pia Dama” (“The Pious Lady”) – young in its activity, a historic medieval Castle, immersed in the gorgeous landscape of the area between Arezzo and Siena.

If tired for the daily stress and curious to see a particular environment, come to the place and in the Castle that recalls the myth of a noble woman named Pia of Tolomei which has been mentioned even by the great poet Dante Alighieri in his Divine Comedy:

“Ah! When thou ar returned to the world,

and rested from thy long journey”,

the third spirit followed on the second,

“be mindful of me, that am Pia.

Siena game me birth, Maremma undid me;

He knows it, who, ringed as I was before,

has espoused me with his own gem”. (Purgatory V.130-136)

“La Pia Dama" is delighted to host You to the Court and invites You to let Yourself wrapped in a magical atmosphere suspended between mysticism and passion. The hard rock dance with sought tissues, with transparent glass; wrought iron and golden leafs embrace themselves in spirals of baroque flavor. Essentiality and glitz balance in exciting visual games. Relax and nature conclude the description of a place to discover, live, touch, breathe….

The Castle is suitable for weddings, receptions, conventions, meetings, presentations, banquets - with a lounge available all year round. During the nice and warm days , for such events, may be used the open area around the pool.

The Residence is equipped with majestic accommodations; a large open area surrounds the swimming pool, cozy lounge-room suited for relax offers to its guests the facilities requested by a resort of its class. From the bridge and the tower You may enjoy beautiful panoramic views. At the Reception can be collected information on the surrounding areas: museums and monuments, holy places, wine and food events, festivals, antique markets. For those who love the medieval villages, cities of art, places where the culture of food and good wine make a worldwide recognize union, we may offer detailed information.

For golf enthusiasts, we boast of a privileged position – since the Golf Club in the area may be reached in a short time and provides special tariffs access. Also, in the area, there is a small but efficient helicopter company offering the opportunity to book breathtaking aerial excursions. For La Pia Dama’s Guests is available a large free parking place.
