STRUCTURE DESCRIPTION
In the heart of Valdorcia, on the west side of Mt Cetona, our “Borgo” has been dominating for more than 400 years this exceptional valley that the UNESCO declared to be one of humankind’s treasures.
From our park, as well as from the flats and suites, you can enjoy a view of rare beauty: secular woods, green hills, orchards, vineyards, olive-groves, the Fortress of Radicofani and the Amiata mountain-top.
Those who love to spend their holidays in a farm, those who need to enjoy the beauties of nature will find in our Village, between Sarteano and Radicofani (ancient halt on the via Francigena) wellbeing and relax.
You will have the possibility to walk among pomegranates, oaks, plum-trees, chestnuts and maple tress, among lavender and rosemary bushes, among perfumed geraniums, to admire our rose-garden, to meet pheasants, hares, foxes and partridges, to pluck the fruits of our trees, to take advantage of our kitchen-garden, to relax by our swimming-pool, and, in summer time, to have dinner accompanied by the melody of crickets and surrounded by fire-flies. You will have the possibility of being regenerated in the warm embrace of the Sienese hills, drawing energy from this magical spots, enjoying the delicious products of our earth: the Brunello wine of Montalcino, the Chianti wine, the wine “Nobile” of Montepulciano, the sheep-cheese of Pienza, our famous steaks, the extra virgin olive oil, the so called home-made “pici” are only some of the special products of our Tuscany. In ten minutes you can reach the Spa of San Casciano Bagni, that with its 42 springs, is the third one in Europe as for water flow.
