The present church was built during the XVIIth century, in place of the more ancient one, that probably dated back to the VIth century.It was donated by the Family Giulietti from Chiusi to the Pie Venerine Sisters.
In the interior, up to the last war, there were traces of XVth century frescoes.
Presently, the church shows a simple terracotta facade surmounted by a triangular spandrel with a hut roof and a small bell tower.
